Webuild, the new group born in 2020 from Salini Impregilo, is a global leader in the construction of infrastructure for the water sector, with major projects that have gone down in history, such as the , considered the most important engineering work of the 21st century and one of the largest, most complex ever built in terms of technical capacity and future impact on international trade.
Other case stories of excellence include the , a structured system designed to collect and transport the water of one of the largest artificial lakes in the United States. And to go on, the construction of the which, when completed, will be the largest one in Africa.
Thanks to its construction experience in the water sector, Webuild has received numerous awards, such as the “First Global Contractor in the Water Sector” (ENR Top Ten 2017) and the “Sustainability Initiative of the Year” for the Anacostia River Tunnel in Washington D.C.
