The project comprises housing and urban planning on a large scale with the construction of 6,000 villas in an area covering seven million square meters at Khashm-Alan area to the east of Riyadh. 

The project comprises of construction of villas of 2 categories, Soldier Villas and Officer Villas using precast panels produced at site. The panels are duly insulated to counter extreme hot summers that last for six to seven months. The scope of works also includes external works comprising of roads, more than 160 kilometers, pathways and allied utilities both, over and underground. The project also includes public buildings, mosques, markets, schools, public parks and recreational areas.

Secondary services like sewage and water treatment plant are also part of the project to recycle wastewater for irrigation purpose.
