The contract from Al Khozama Management Company, the leading developer and manager of luxury, hospitality, retail and commercial properties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is known as the Al Faisaliah District Redevelopment Project.

The contract foresaw a $53-million refurbishment of the renowned Al Faisaliah Mall, home to some of the world’s leading designer brands. It included demolition of the adjacent Seyahiah and Al Khozama Centre buildings to make way for an extension of the Mall and the construction of a five-star hotel and accompanying underground parking.

The Mall was remodeled and upgraded in phases, ensuring that it remains open throughout the 16-month period of work.

The Mall extension has 16,000 square metres of additional space, and creted the longest street retail façade in Riyadh. Together with the new Al Khozama Hotel, it has a prominent presence on Olaya Road in the city’s central business district.

The entire project was completed in three years.
