Salini Impregilo presents new Group website. A Digital Media Factory with stories of People and Projects around the world
Milan, October 28, 2019 - A new website, a new Group, with new growth perspectives in Italy and internationally. Salini Impregilo launches its new website while the Group is engaged in Progetto Italia, the consolidation plan of the construction sector that will make way for the largest Italian player in the infrastructure sector.
A change of perspective that the new portal will present each day to the general public. The website will be a Digital Media Factory of visual storytelling to narrate the Group and the world of infrastructure through videos, live streaming, podcasts, news reports and photo galleries.
From the ceremony for the lifting of the first deck of the new Genoa bridge, presided over by the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, to the inauguration of the Cityringen metro in Copenhagen, in the presence of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Salini Impregilo's works and particularly its people will be the protagonists of the many articles, videos, in-depth analyses and inquiries that the new website will offer.

Our story includes the many revolutions made possible in time thanks to these large works, and the small gestures made day after day, by our people, so that these works reach completion. Salini Impregilo's projects gave Genoa its bridge back again, while Las Vegas has its potable water, and the post-panamax ships can now sail through the New Panama Canal. Australian citizens are provided with modern and sustainable metros, and high-speed rail travel is guaranteed both in Italy and the US. Our website and our channels are like a beacon whose light, day and night, shines on our works, and the overall development of the infrastructure sector, globally”.
Our new website underpins this challenge, starting from the results that the Group has already reached from its web activities, up to now. The 13 corporate sites of the previous website system, which just last year registered over 1,240,000 visits, with a 50% increase compared to the previous year, with foreign visits increased by 60%, now finally merge into a sole unique hub. This result was also reached by our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter) where our Group registered 35 million impressions, growing by 74% in just 9 months.
Since 2014, the birth year of Salini Impregilo, the Group has been the protagonist of a strong business growth, accompanied by a communication strategy that contributed to consolidating its reputation as global leader of the large infrastructure sector, thanks to the many storytelling activities of Salini Impregilo's new projects, results, technological innovations, milestones and the many Safety, Sustainability and Inclusion initiatives. A new way of bringing the world of large complex infrastructure closer even to those not directly involved.
