Webuild: proud of the success of Italian athlete Zaynab Dosso, protagonist of "Webuild for Sport" Campaign

Milan, March 24, 2025 – Italy is once again on the podium with Zaynab Dosso, who in China, during the Nanjing indoor athletics world championship, won the silver medal for the 60-metre-dash. Dosso's win follows the recent Italian record of 7"01 and her gold medal won at the European championship. She is one of the five Italian female champions, sport icons and protagonists of the "Webuild for Sport. Building a dream: Stories of Female Champions" campaign, launched by Webuild, last August.

The campaign brings sport and engineering together with the message ‘We dream, we build, we win’, connecting the stories of these female champions to the ones of the women and men who daily work in approximately 150 projects that the Group is currently building in almost 50 nations, globally. In this campaign, Dosso, with the Italian athletes Caterina Banti (sailing), Alice Bellandi (judo), Angela Carini (boxing) and Antonella Palmisano (athletics), embodies resilience, passion, tenacity, audacity and perseverance: the very same values that inspire Webuild when it builds its complex, innovative works that contribute to building a better future.

The Webuild Group supports sport as an instrument for personal growth, meritocracy and inclusion. Webuild, just as for the sport, in its global construction sites, promotes emerging talent, enhancing diversity and investing in ongoing training to build a sustainable future.
