As in sport, even when building a bridge, a railway and dam, there's all the commitment of a human being, a bet with oneself that renews every day. "Webuild for Sport. Italian female athletes, champions in life and sport" is a new initiative of Webuild which promotes sport values told through the stories of these great female sportswomen. Caterina Banti - Sailing; Alice Bellandi - Judo; Angela Carini - Boxing; Zaynab Dosso and Antonella Palmisano - Athletics: these are the protagonists of this project in which they tell us what it takes to win a medal.

The protagonists of this journey are Italian champions whose life experiences are paired with the faces of Webuild's people — the women and men working daily to bring to life over 150 projects underway around the world. Audacity, perseverance, resilience, tenacity, and passion are the values that drive this campaign and unite the world of sports and these female athletes with Webuild's reality in building the world's most challenging infrastructures. Core values drive Webuild to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for complex projects, adapting to the often extreme conditions at worksites around the world.

The same values are also embodied by those building large infrastructure, which without ever surrendering meet the challenges posed by each project, finding unique and original solutions to build durable works of value, while contributing to the development of communities.
Webuild for sport
Over the years, Webuild has launched numerous initiatives promoting the world of sport and its values, with the aim of fostering team spirit, resilience, and fair competition.
By supporting sports teams and events in the main countries in which it operates, Webuild also aims to confirm its commitment to creating shared value in those territories, supporting sport as a tool for personal and collective growth and development and as a source of inspiration for building a better future.
On its building sites, just like in sport, Webuild invests in talented youngsters and their futures, valuing their skills and fostering their development with career paths and training plans that enable each of them to realise their full potential.
With under-35s accounting for 41% of its workforce, the Group launched the training and employment programme in recent months, with the aim of hiring 10,000 people by 2026, especially on construction sites in southern Italy. At the same time, the Group collaborates with a network of almost 20 leading universities in Italy and around the world, as well as technical colleges, with the aim of attracting, selecting and training talented young people. Webuild also promotes research on innovation issues in the sector through the for undergraduates, graduates and post-doctoral students, now in its third edition.
