The Doha Metro forms part of the project to build the new infrastructural mobility system promoted by Qatar within the National Development Plan for 2030 (Qatar National Vision 2030). The Red Line North Underground – the line built by Webuild (previously Salini Impregilo) and its partners in the ISG joint-venture – extends for approximately 13 km, through seven new underground stations.
