Al Hasa hospital centres
The hospital complexes of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, with a total of 467 beds, are among the most important in the al-Ḥasa region in the eastern part of the Kingdom.
Completed in 2001, the project covered the design, construction and supply of furnishings and electrical medical equipment for two new complexes — Al-Ḥasa, the largest and most innovative, and Damman — as well as the expansion and modernisation of a third facility in Jeddah. Housing and infrastructure were also built for the National Guard and their families. The entire project involved an area of over 53,000 m² and the use of 121,000 m³ of concrete, with more than 221,000 m³ of earthwork.
The project was recognised as ‘best practice’ in the healthcare sector by the prestigious Joint Commission International, an organisation active in over 100 countries.
