Thessaloniki Metro, Greece - Webuild Project

Inaugurated on November 30, 2024,  the Thessaloniki's first subway line extends approximately 9.6 km (central section of the new line) and runs underground along major roadways and through central city areas.

Thessaloniki's new metro is driverless, has a capacity of 18,000 passengers per hour in each direction, with a peak-hour frequency of one train every 90 seconds.
